Future Proof Careers?

The other day, my soon to be high school freshman daughter and I looked over her course catalog and had a good discussion about possible career paths. Part of my advice to her was to think about a career that the “robots” (probably) won’t take over in the next 50 years. I suggested careers that require either creativity (film/video production, photography, etc.) or non-linear, social problem solving (policymaking, public administration, etc.). After some thought, she’s leaning towards exploring a career in film/video production.

I’m curious, have you thought about how AI could affect your career? Have you had conversations with the young people around you about how AI could affect their careers?
